Wanted: Digital and print media designer (m/f/d)

We are expanding our graphics team in the print sector and are looking for a media designer (print/digital) (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible.

We are also happy to support you with relocating to our region.

Your responsibilities

• You primarily carry out typesetting work, e.g., text layout and form composition.
• You handle final artwork preparation of layouts and create process‑specific print data for offset, digital, and large‑format printing.
• You create layouts based on customer specifications, taking corporate design guidelines into account or working from existing data.
• You carry out a limited amount of creative redesign work.
• You coordinate layouts directly with customers.
• You perform preflight checks on supplied files and make corrections if necessary.
• You perform technical image editing tasks, e.g., color space conversion, resolution adjustments, image clipping, and basic retouching.
• You work closely with colleagues from marketing, prepress, large‑format, and digital printing.

Your profile

• You have completed vocational training as a digital and print media designer (m/f/d), specializing in print design and production, or a comparable qualification.
• You have several years of professional experience, preferably in typesetting/layout in an agency environment or in prepress.
• You are highly proficient and confident in using Adobe InDesign (paragraph and character styles, master pages, tables).
• You have good skills in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• You have knowledge of color management.
• You have strong technical understanding and demonstrate holistic thinking.
• You have good spatial awareness and a strong eye for typography.
• You are open to new software and technologies and independently acquire new skills and knowledge.
• You work carefully, in a structured and goal‑oriented manner.
• You are communicative and enjoy working in a team.
