Key Responsibilities

  • Daily operation of after-sales battery warehousing and end-to-end process management for receiving, storage, picking, output, and return receipt of after-sales batteries; enforce strict batch management and serial-number traceability; manage daily and cyclical inventories and variance analysis.
  • Manage returns, exchanges, and fault batteries: receive, register, preliminarily detect, classify (repairable / to be scrapped / to be returned to factory); coordinate with repair centers and the technical department to complete turnover, allocation, and return repair; track the RMA process to ensure completeness and traceability of documents and system records.
  • Safety and dangerous goods compliance (German core requirements): adhere to German BGB, StVG, DGUV, IFCO, VDE and EU ADR; implement lithium battery storage safety; develop and drill fire, emergency, and thermal runaway emergency plans.
  • Recycling and environmental compliance: manage registration, temporary storage, packing, and compliant transfer of old and scrapped batteries; ensure recycling chain traceability and audits with official recycling institutions in Germany.
  • Team and on-site management: supervise local warehouse operations, forklift operators, and after-sales logistics support staff; scheduling, training, performance appraisal, and on-site 5S/7S management; ensure compliance with German labor laws and safety requirements.
  • System and data management: generate German/English bilingual operation reports (inventory, turnover, timeliness, cost, safety); monitor obsolete spare parts and expired batteries; promote cleaning and proper disposal.
  • Internal and external coordination: coordinate with headquarters after-sales, quality, supply chain, customs; handle cross-regional allocation; engage with German official inspections (environment, fire, labor, dangerous goods supervision).
  • Cost and process optimization: control warehousing, packaging, logistics, and labor costs; improve turnover efficiency of after-sales spare parts to reduce inventory holding costs and optimize the return/exchange process to minimize secondary damage and operational risk.

Qualifications

  • More than 3 years of experience in after-sales warehousing or spare parts logistics management; preference for battery, power, or automotive industry background.
  • Familiar with German dangerous goods regulations, battery recycling regulations, and labor/environmental protection requirements.
  • Proficient in using WMS/ERP systems with strong data analysis capabilities.
  • Languages: fluent in German, English, and Chinese.
  • Strong sense of security, crisis management ability, and cross-cultural communication skills.
  • Preference for DGUV hazardous materials storage, forklift management, and firefighting qualifications.
