Doctoral Research Position (m/f/x)

Position Overview

Reference number W2889. Salary according to German TV‑L scale, pay grade E13 TV‑L. Employment duration: 3 years, 75 % full time.

Responsibilities

• Plan, program, and conduct behavioral and EEG studies.
• Analyze data and organize project activities, including supervising student research assistants.
• Contribute to data management, documentation, and open science practices.
• Prepare publications and progress reports.
• Support PhD completion with structured doctoral supervision and training.

Academic Qualifications

• Completed university studies in Psychology, Cognitive Neurosciences, or related field.
• English language skills at C1 level (according to GER).

Desired Skills and Experience

• Interest in memory research and face recognition.
• Experience with experimental research and electrophysiological methods.
• Programming experience with E‑Prime or PsychoPy.
• Data analysis skills in MATLAB or R.
• Careful, independent, and structured working style.
