Account Management plays a critical role in managing client relationships, delivering strategic workforce solutions, and ensuring an exceptional client experience.

The Role

Account Management is responsible for managing and servicing client relationships while supporting the delivery of employee benefits and human capital solutions. This role serves as a trusted day-to-day advisor to clients, partnering closely with producers, consultants, carriers, and internal specialists to provide proactive service and strategic guidance.

The ideal candidate is client-focused, highly organized, and passionate about helping organizations navigate increasingly complex workforce challenges.

What Your Day Will Look Like

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned clients and develop strong, long-term relationships.
  • Coordinate and manage client service activities, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of solutions and services.
  • Support the implementation, renewal, and ongoing management of employee benefit programs and workforce solutions.
  • Prepare client presentations, renewal materials, stewardship reports, and strategic reviews.
  • Partner with carriers, vendors, and internal subject matter experts to resolve client issues and deliver recommendations.
  • Assist clients with employee benefits administration, compliance requirements, and workforce-related initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance client programs and improve employee experience and organizational outcomes.
  • Support the annual renewal process, including gathering underwriting information, coordinating marketing efforts, and reviewing carrier proposals.
  • Analyze plan performance, utilization trends, and workforce-related metrics to support client decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate client records and documentation within agency management and CRM systems.
  • Collaborate closely with Producers and Consultants to support retention and growth objectives.
  • Stay current on market developments, healthcare trends, regulatory changes, and workforce solutions best practices.

Skills and Experience That Will Lead to Success

  • 3+ years of client service, account management, employee benefits, human capital consulting, or related experience.
  • Strong understanding of employee benefits and workforce-related programs.
  • Excellent relationship management and client communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience preparing client-facing presentations and reports.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM or agency management systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a commitment to exceptional service.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Active Life, Accident & Health License, or ability to obtain upon hire.
  • CEBS, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or other industry certifications preferred.
  • Experience supporting middle market and large employer clients.
  • Familiarity with employee benefits administration, compliance, and workforce strategy initiatives.
