XSIAM Security Engineer (Contract)

Requirements

• Having a Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Information Technology or other related field
• Willing to work in a shift-based role with these arrangements: 06.00 - 15.00 OR 13.00 - 22.00
• Possessing a Palo Alto Networks XSIAM Engineer Certification
• Minimum 3 (three) years of experience in the overall field of information security
• Minimum 3 (three) years of experience in SOC platform operations such as SIEM, EDR/XDR, and SOAR, including cyber threat analysis and incident management
• Minimum 2 (two) years of experience with Palo Alto Networks products, especially Cortex XSIAM
• Minimum 2 (two) years of experience in information security, particularly in operating various SOC platforms, cyber threat analysis, and incident management

Job Descriptions

• Set up XSIAM components, including (Broker VM, Remote Engine, and network connectivity)
• Integrate with on-premise infrastructure such as Atlassian (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.), monitoring systems, and other systems used by SOC BRI
• Migrate and redirect ingested logs to XSIAM, including normalization of raw logs
• Provide consultation and guidance, especially related to integration and adoption of XSIAM features
• Perform data source onboarding along with design and requirements analysis during the process
• Provide recommendations to optimize platform usage
• Develop correlation and detection rules as well as automation playbooks
• Create operational documentation for troubleshooting and platform management
• Prepare Preventive Maintenance reports, carry out Corrective Maintenance activities, and document incidents/problems/troubleshooting
