Booking.com is seeking a full time Account Manager Home for our lovely office in Berlin/Hamburg/Munich. (This is a 2 years contract to start)
Role Overview:
Account Managers Home who are supporting the Local Partner Services team manage a portfolio of Home partners within the DACH region and they are responsible for providing them with complex commercial advice in regards to their business performance, market opportunities and a high focus on new partnership growth opportunities. You will empower partners on how to use the system, tools and available products of Booking.com BV with the goal of optimizing their performance on the platform and creating an amazing experience for customers.
Furthermore the Account Manager is expected to have a solid understanding of the vacation rental market and set up and execute new partnership strategies.
Additionally, they will work with stakeholders from central and local teams to give feedback on improvements needed on internal and external tools and products.
Key Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Pro-active communication with Home partners of your designated portfolio in the DACH region by telephone and by internal messaging, visiting partner to assist with the development of the business
- Responsible for a portfolio of Home partners where you are the first point of contact, answering questions and following up when needed, also responsible of evaluating local market characteristics, trends and drivers
- Responsible for maintaining a stable relationship with the Home partners (i.e. frequent performance calls and contact to ensure they offer Booking.com’s customers the best availability and supply in the region)
- Be knowledgeable on Booking.com’s products so that their benefits and usage can be explained to Partners
- Help identifying new potential partner leads and support the onboarding of new partners
- Working closely with the Connectivity team to share advanced knowledge of connectivity opportunities with partners.
- Participating, organizing and coordinating Tourist Trade Fair visits related to Booking Home Partners Marketspace.
- Support the organization of events, such as workshops and webinars, for partners. Also encouraged to attend in the partner events for their portfolio
Role Qualifications and Requirements:
- Knowledge about Vacation Rental market
- Significant experience in a relevant account management/sales/business development function
- Proficient in spoken and written English and German
- Proved experience within e-commerce and/or travel industry
- Proactive with a sense of responsibility and can work independently
- Accurate, strong analytical skills and an eye for detail
- A team player, self-motivated, flexible and open to change
- Driver’s license
- Availability to travel up to 50% within the DACH region
