About the Company  
Our client is a global player in the filtration and components industry, with a strong footprint across commercial vehicles, off-road equipment, and industrial applications. To further expand their business in the off-road sector, they are creating a new Account Manager role. This is a growth position, you will not be inheriting accounts, but instead building new customer relationships and driving sales in a greenfield environment. 
The company culture values long-term partnerships, gives you the freedom to shape your strategy, and provides the necessary support to succeed. While results are expected after one year, the approach is strategic rather than pushy. 
Your Responsibilities  
- Develop and grow new business in the off-road customer segment. 
 - Identify, approach, and win new OEM accounts in the sector. 
 - Act as the sales interface between engineering teams and customers, ensuring technical requirements are understood and translated into solutions. 
 - Build long-term customer relationships through regular contact, meetings, and presentations. 
 - Gather and share market intelligence, customer needs, and competitor benchmarks. 
 - Lead the pursuit and negotiation phases of opportunities, ensuring profitable and strategic wins. 
 - Collaborate with internal teams on pricing, product concepts, and RFQs. 
 - Report regularly on sales activities, market developments, and progress to management. 
  
Your Profile  
- Proven track record in sales/new business development  within the off-road sector  (e.g., agricultural, construction, or heavy equipment machinery). 
 - Background with competitor companies is strongly preferred; you must bring industry know-how and an existing network. 
 - Strong technical understanding, ideally supported by a university degree in Engineering (flexible if equivalent experience). 
 - At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role. 
 - Fluent German (C1)  and fluent English required; other languages are a plus. 
 - Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. 
 - Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently while leveraging internal support. 
 - Willingness to travel for customer visits and occasional trips to European offices. 
 - Ideally based in Germany (Stuttgart or Munich preferred; West Germany possible). Remote work is possible with occasional presence in the Stuttgart office.
