    This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive sales and distribution in a dynamic and rapidly growing beverage market. The Area Sales Manager will focus on building strong relationships with retail partners, distributors, and brokers, while expanding product placement and market share in the assigned territory. This position requires a hands-on, results-oriented professional who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys solving challenges creatively, and can motivate cross-functional teams. You will have the autonomy to prioritize high-impact opportunities, optimize sales processes, and help bring a mission-driven product to more consumers. Frequent travel within the territory and a passion for consumer engagement are essential.

    Accountabilities:

    • Deliver monthly volume and distribution targets across assigned markets.
    • Build and maintain strong partnerships with distributors, brokers, and retail partners.
    • Conduct weekly route rides to identify underperforming accounts and optimize routes.
    • Monitor inventory, P.O.S. material usage, and ensure follow-through on commitments to sales teams and distributors.
    • Assist Regional Sales Manager with reporting on distribution, sales, and promotional programs.
    • Implement incentive programs to drive distributor performance and achieve sales objectives.
    • Manage chain retailer relationships, including new item launches and retail programs.
    • Collaborate with field-marketing teams to develop marketing plans that increase market share and profitability.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience in sales, account management, or territory management, preferably in consumer packaged goods or beverage industry.
    • Passion for the brand and alignment with its mission-driven, health-focused values.
    • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to work autonomously, take initiative, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
    • Strong planning, organization, and project management skills.
    • Competence with Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, and collaboration tools like Slack and Zoom.
    • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and travel frequently within territory.
    • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance.
    • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

    Benefits
