Job Description

Join us as an Associate Scientist Technical Development (m/f/d) at Sandoz in Deutschland.

The role involves planning, organizing, performing, and documenting scientific experiments/activities, such as the development and qualification of in vitro cell-based and immunoassays for functional protein characterization, under moderate supervision/in collaboration with experienced team members.

Responsibilities

Manage operational aspects in the lab, including taking over responsibility for special equipment and scheduling maintenance.
Maintain laboratory inventory and work according to Quality Manual, SOPs, and HSE/ISEC guidelines.
Provide documentation of raw data, evaluate results, and review/verify raw data generated by others.
Write documents, such as lab procedures/SOPs or study plans and reports, based on templates under moderate supervision.
Address and solve problems of medium complexity and contribute to the development of new methods/processes.
Perform information searches, participate in knowledge exchange, and train/coach technicians and employees under training/education.
Collaborate within own and other groups.

Requirements

MSc in Biology, Biotechnology, or related Natural Sciences, or relevant experience and education.
Good communication skills in English and advanced practical experience with cell-based bioassays and bioanalytical techniques.
Awareness of safe handling of chemicals and adequate theoretical/scientific knowledge in the relevant area.
Adequate knowledge of relevant software/computer tools and good documentation/presentation/scientific writing skills.
