This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of Trility Consulting. We are currently looking for an Azure Data Consultant – MidLevel in United States.

As an Azure Data Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud-based data solutions. You will collaborate closely with clients to test and deploy Microsoft Fabric, evaluating performance and driving improvements over on-premise systems. This role requires hands-on expertise in ETL development, data modeling, and cloud analytics, while providing guidance to stakeholders on technical strategy. You will work in an agile, collaborative environment, contributing to projects that improve business outcomes and ensure secure, scalable, and efficient data architectures. Your work will directly impact client success and advance the adoption of modern data platforms.

Accountabilities:

• Lead the implementation and performance testing of Microsoft Fabric, assessing ETL processes and query efficiency.
• Design, build, and optimize data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Fabric to consolidate data from enterprise systems.
• Evaluate and execute SQL queries to measure improvements in cloud versus on-premise environments.
• Develop and document data architectures, including data lakes, lakehouses, and cloud databases.
• Apply best practices for ETL development, data modeling, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and cloud best practices.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience with Azure Data Services (Fabric, ADF, Databricks, Synapse, etc.).
• Hands-on experience implementing Microsoft Fabric in production environments.
• Strong expertise in ETL development, particularly with Azure Data Factory.
• Experience leading discussions and providing oversight on data model design across multiple teams.
• Proficient in data modeling techniques, including dimensional modeling, star schema, and Kimball methodologies.
• Deep understanding of cloud architectures and analytics platforms.
• Advanced SQL skills for data transformation and query performance tuning.
• Strong business analysis and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills, comfortable working in cross-functional teams.
