We have a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Building Automation Engineer to join our growing team. With excellent people skills, you have a proven ability to work in partnership at all levels. The projects will include a diverse mix of projects in the Biopharma, Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences sectors across the DACH region.

Responsibilities
- BMS/EMS Design as part of a multi discipline projects team throughout all project phases
- Generating detailed scope of work packages for BMS contractor for tender / procurement process
- Specification and procurement of BMS System Components
- Attend and participate in client and PM Group meetings
- Leading of meetings with clients, vendors, contractors, and other discipline engineers
- Coordination of interfaces with other disciplines and/or project participants
- Development of I/O lists, HVAC and Utility Sequence of Operations documents, BMS System Architecture & Topography, Software & Hardware specifications
- Instrumentation design
- FAT/SAT document preparation & execution
- Responsible for supporting commissioning activities such as SATs, Installation Verification, Operational Verification, writing of SOPs for the BMS. This includes but not limited to I/Os, alarm testing, loop checks, etc
- Undertake value engineering activities and implement new technologies where they are required to provide costs effective solutions for our clients
- Project Management and control of BMS Project scope including cost estimates and reporting
- Support Constructability and Safety reviews
- Support the site CM team during construction with RFI clarifications (SDC)
- Review project scope, budget and schedule
- Ability to manage workload of multiple projects of varying complexity
Qualifications
- BE/ME degree or equivalent in Engineering along with 5+ years’ experience in BMS Construction/Engineering environments
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit would be an advantage, but not essential
- Experience in a pharmaceutical or mission critical facility
- Experience in a GMP manufacturing facility.
- Knowledge of the latest technical regulations, codes of practice and check of compliance with client specifications and local norms and standards
- Good verbal and written communication skills required
- Self-starter and can take initiative with assigned tasks and objectives
- Candidate must have proficiency in a windows based environment and software (Word, PowerPoint, project, advanced excel and access)
- Willingness to travel within DACH
- Professional working proficiency in English and German language
- A strong ethical approach to safety, quality and environmental protection
