For one of our clients, we are looking for a Business Developer, remotely from Europe.
In this role, you will focus on building a strong client pipeline, engaging with senior leadership to secure new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth across the European market. You will take ownership of target segments, lead strategic sales development initiatives, and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless client engagement. The ideal candidate will be proactive, highly organized, and capable of establishing long-term relationships with clients while positioning the organization as an industry leader. Regular travel will be required to meet clients and attend industry events.
Accountabilities:
Proactively identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities that align with strategic goalsBuild and maintain strong relationships with senior leadership and key decision-makersAttend industry conferences and expos to generate leads and strengthen client relationshipsIndependently plan travel to meet clients and prospects, achieving sales targetsCreate compelling proposals and manage contract reviews to ensure alignment with client expectationsCollaborate with internal teams to devise and implement strategic sales approachesLeverage networking tools and industry contacts to expand the client pipeline
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or Business Administration (MBA)At least 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or account managementKnowledge of Regulatory Affairs or Pharmacovigilance is a plusFluency in English is required; additional European languages such as French, Spanish, or German are an advantageStrong networking, communication, and collaboration skillsExperience with CRM systems and online networking tools for lead generationAbility to work under pressure, meet KPIs, and deliver results individually and within a teamConfident in presenting to clients and conducting seminars for large groups
