This role offers the opportunity to contribute to complex cloud environments, supporting enterprise clients across multiple industries. As a Cloud Engineer, you will provide expert-level engineering, troubleshooting, and technical guidance for cloud-based managed services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, deploy, and optimize cloud infrastructure while ensuring security and compliance standards are met. The position emphasizes proactive problem-solving, continuous improvement, and mentorship, allowing you to influence both client outcomes and internal processes. Ideal candidates are highly skilled with Azure and DevOps practices, thrive in dynamic environments, and are passionate about cutting-edge cloud technology.

Accountabilities

·         Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for cloud infrastructure and managed services.

·         Analyze and resolve complex technical problems, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.

·         Design, implement, and maintain cloud environments, leveraging automation tools for deployment and monitoring.

·         Participate in security audits and ensure compliance with frameworks such as FedRAMP, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and SOC standards.

·         Communicate effectively with clients and act as a trusted advisor on technical matters.

·         Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

·         Mentor and train team members while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

·         Maintain documentation, knowledge base articles, and runbooks to support internal and client-facing operations.

Requirements

·         7+ years of experience in cloud engineering or related technical roles.

·         5+ years hands-on experience with Azure in production environments.

·         Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure components including compute, storage, networking, databases, and security.

·         Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), DevOps practices, and cloud automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Azure DevOps).

·         Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.

·         Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, including familiarity with ITIL processes.

·         Strong communication skills for engaging with clients and internal teams.

·         Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

·         Relevant Azure certifications, including Azure Architect (AZ305), are highly preferred.

·         Ability to work independently, mentor others, and provide support across multiple US time zones.

·         Must pass a federal background check for Public Trust Fitness.
