The Employee’s Responsibilities Include
Responsibilities
- Manage the co-ordination of all CSA, MECH and ELEC work packages.
- Management of Site Safety in conjunction with Mercury Safety Advisor, including set up, management of and closing out of file.
- Management of Site QA in conjunction with Mercury Project Manager and team including set up, management and close out of file.
- Management of Project Schedule in conjunction with Planner, Project Managers, Sub-Contractors and consulting Engineer/Architect to Mercury Engineering and Client requirements
- Management of all costs associated with Project with the support of the project QS including: Labour, Material, Plant and Equipment, Variations, Valuations
- Management of all day to day site operations
- Direct management of Mercury Engineering project team including alignment of all discipline leads to the benefit of project goals.
- Managing and leading the collaborative meetings on-site with the Mercury team and subcontractors.
- Management of sub-contractor activities including tracking progress against schedule and manpower levels. Ensure that there is a weekly minuted meeting with sub-contractor.
- Management of the Mercury “In Progress” snagging system ensuring that the supervisors return weekly punch lists where applicable.
- Ensure all Sub-contractor documentation including safety documentation is maintained up to date and filed for future reference.
- Plan and management of the General Operatives, Security, Telehandler drivers, traffic marshals, etc and will be responsible for compliance with the agreed commercial budget.
- Management of the overall site logistics on site.
- Drive the Mercury Engineering culture of safety and quality through the project.
- Provide the safety and quality leadership required on all Mercury projects.
- Review the weekly progress report before it is issued to all stakeholders. Highlight areas not available, delays, shortage of design, third party hold ups and percentage
- Attendance at Site Meetings, Internal Project Reviews, Engineering Reviews, Planning and Co-ordination Meetings and Handover Meetings
- Close out of all project items including Final Account, O & M Manuals, Punch List, Safety File, QA File, Material and Plant re-locations, Project Plan – all with the Support of your Project team.
- Issue Daily Report to the Project Manager
- Issue weekly safety stats & project labour projections.
- Hold weekly commercial meetings with the commercial team to ensure all variations are being captured and costs issued to the client.
- Develop and implement company procedures with the Project Managers.
- Ensure change management is handled correctly (Cost & Programme).
- Review drawings and setting out details.
- Produce builders works drawings for services.
- Carry out distribute & close out CSA snags.
- All other duties associated with this role.
Essential Criteria
- Good strong working knowledge of CSA Construction process
- 5-7 years experience as a CSA Construction Manager/ Supervisor
- Trade background or third level education in a relevant engineering/ construction background
- Proven track record in coordinating and managing large scale projects
- Data Centre experience would be an advantage

Wesentliche Kriterien
- Gute und fundierte Kenntnisse des CSA-Bauprozesses
- 5–7 Jahre Erfahrung als CSA-Bauleiter/-Supervisor
- Berufsausbildung oder Hochschulabschluss im relevanten Ingenieur-/Bauwesen
- Nachgewiesene Erfolgsbilanz bei der Koordinierung und Verwaltung von Großprojekten
- Erfahrung im Rechenzentrum wäre von Vorteil
