You will advise private equity-backed companies and major corporates on high-impact initiatives, leveraging market insights, robust financial modeling, and stakeholder management.
Your Tasks
- Commercial Due Diligence: Participation in transactions, including the creation of commercial evaluations, factbooks and information memoranda
- Growth Strategy Development: Support and co-development of growth and Go-To-Market strategies
- Cost Optimization & Operational Excellence: Identify cost drivers, propose reduction measures, design new business models, and recommend process improvements that enhance efficiency and profitability
- Portfolio Strategy & M&A: Guidance on buy & build initiatives, portfolio restructuring, and post-merger integration to unlock synergies
- Strategic Analyses & Business Cases: Conduct market research, competitive benchmarking, and financial evaluations to support critical strategic decisions
- Executive Stakeholder Management: Prepare concise, board-level materials and work with senior executives and investors on critical objectives
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Engage with finance, operations, and other teams to ensure seamless project execution and maximum value capture
Your Profile
- Graduate of a top university or business school with an outstanding academic record
- 1-3 years of experience at Tier 1 or Tier 2/boutique firms
- Very good skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Affinity for software and IT-services topics (e.g., Managed Services, SaaS)
- Demonstrable experience in exit readiness, cost optimization, due diligence, or post-merger integration projects
- Ability to assimilate industry insights quickly and translate them into tangible recommendations
- Proven ability to build relationships at senior levels and influence decision-making with clear, concise presentations
- Thrive in a dynamic environment with shifting deadlines and high commitment
- Excellent language skills in German and English
