What you'll be working on

Design and implement robust ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines
Develop and maintain data integration solutions across multiple database systems
Build and optimize data warehousing architectures
Collaborate with data science and analytics teams to support data-driven decision making
Explore and potentially implement data lake solutions

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex data extraction and transformation processes
• Create and optimize SQL queries and data models
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across different systems
• Implement data governance and security best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline performance issues
• Document technical processes and data workflows
• Provide technical guidance and support to cross-functional teams

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in data engineering
Strong proficiency in SQL and database management
Experience with ETL tools and processes
Hands-on expertise with relational and flat file databases
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is preferred
Scripting skills in Python or similar programming languages
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong verbal and written communication abilities
