Data Engineer (m/f/d) – Energy Management Platform
As Data Engineer at DHYBRID, you will work at the intersection of renewable energy, data, and cloud technology . You will help us integrate industrial systems, ensure data quality, and turn raw information into meaningful insights – enabling reliable and sustainable energy systems worldwide.
We are looking for candidates with professional experience in data engineering, ideally in industrial or energy-related environments.
Your Responsibilities
System Integration & Data Connectivity
- Connect field devices (industrial PCs) in project environments.
- Validate data points to ensure system reliability.
- Build dashboards, alerts, and reports in Grafana (on-prem and AWS).
- Support project teams with clear data visualisation and analysis.
Operations & User Management
- Manage users and access rights.
- Implement alert handling and backfill strategies.
Documentation & QA
- Maintain project and process documentation.
What We’re Looking For
Required Skills & Experience
- Education in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or Renewable Energy, or equivalent training.
- First experience with industrial protocols (OPC UA, Modbus TCP, MQTT).
- Confident in Grafana and database handling (InfluxDB, Telegraf).
- Practical knowledge of Linux/Windows and Python programming.
- Good command of German (B2+) and English (B2+).
Nice-to-Haves
- Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud.
- Knowledge in data modelling and advanced database design.
- Broader industrial IoT / energy systems background.
- Additional languages are a plus in our international projects.
