    What is there to do?


    After extensive training by experienced colleagues, you will take on the following tasks

    • Support and further development of our systems in the cloud environment: You will support our systems in the cloud environment, including OpenStack and Azure, and ensure that they are secure, stable and performant
    • Setting up, operating and maintaining development environments: As a DevOps Engineer, you will take on a central role in product development and help to ensure that our development teams are successful. You will create and maintain efficient development environments for all development areas of genua product development. This includes the planning, implementation and maintenance of infrastructure components, such as virtual machines, containers and networks
    • Automation using Terraform, Ansible and other tools: You will analyze and optimize our build/test environments and CI/CD pipelines to improve the efficiency and quality of our software development. This includes the implementation of automation tools and the introduction of new technologies
    • Training, consulting and support: You will train, advise and support our developers in the use of our systems and tools. This includes creating documentation, conducting training sessions and providing troubleshooting support
    • Integration of the systems into central IT processes: You ensure that our development environments are smoothly integrated into central IT systems - e.g. in terms of documentation, monitoring, backup

    What you bring with you

    • Successfully completed IT training or a technical degree
    • Passion for Linux systems and strong networking skills
    • Practical experience in the Azure or AWS cloud environment
    • Skills in programming (script) languages such as Python or Bash
    • Familiarity with virtualization & container technologies (e.g. Docker)
    • Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines in gitlab or Jenkins
    • Experience in project management or interest in familiarizing yourself with it
    • Team spirit, initiative and a structured, safety-conscious mindset
    • Business fluent German (C1+) and good English skills
    • Ideally first contact with ISOor interest in familiarizing yourself with the topic
