    This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of IFS. We are currently looking for a Director Executive Compensation in the United Kingdom.

    This role provides a strategic leadership opportunity within executive reward and compensation. The Director will lead the design and delivery of executive and senior management compensation programs, including equity and cash-based incentives. Partnering closely with executive stakeholders, HR, finance, and external advisors, you will ensure programs attract, retain, and motivate top talent. The role also encompasses M&A and corporate transaction support, providing guidance on executive compensation approaches and harmonization. You will mentor and develop a small team, providing thought leadership while delivering practical solutions in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Success in this position directly influences leadership retention, engagement, and organizational performance.

    Accountabilities

    ·         Lead the design, delivery, and management of executive and senior management compensation programs, including bonus schemes and equity plans.

    ·         Partner with executives to develop incentive strategies that attract, retain, and motivate top talent.

    ·         Manage equity-based and cash-based incentive programs in collaboration with Finance, Tax, Legal, and external advisors, including participant communications.

    ·         Serve as the reward representative in M&A and corporate transactions, contributing to due diligence, integration planning, retention structures, and reward harmonization.

    ·         Assess and recommend executive compensation approaches for target companies during M&A activities.

    ·         Lead, mentor, and develop compensation team members, providing subject matter expertise and guidance.

    ·         Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and influence senior leaders on compensation strategy and execution.

    Requirements

    ·         Proven experience in executive compensation, preferably within privately owned or high-growth businesses with management equity schemes.

    ·         Strong expertise in equity plan design, management, and administration, including understanding of legal, tax, and accounting considerations.

    ·         Excellent analytical, financial modeling, and commercial skills.

    ·         Exceptional communication, influencing, and stakeholder management abilities.

    ·         Ability to provide trusted thought leadership while delivering pragmatic solutions in a fast-paced environment.

    ·         Experience in M&A reward workstreams and corporate transactions is desirable.

    ·         Background in private equity-backed or high-growth technology businesses is a plus.
