What You Will Be Doing

• Create BrainLifts: Develop a dynamic repository of expert insights that refine AI tools, guide key decisions, and demonstrate deep domain understanding.
• Implement Product Iterations: Execute small, data-informed product improvements weekly to align the product with measurable goals.
• Develop Domain Expertise: Foster a comprehensive understanding of specific domains to enhance decision-making, generate tailored outputs, and communicate with authority.

What You Won’t Be Doing

Spending extensive time on feature development; our goal is to ship new features weekly.
Crafting detailed PRDs, managing backlogs, or defining every screen or edge case.
Designing technical solutions or software architecture.

Basic Requirements

Director of AI Product Management key responsibilities

• Over 4 years of experience in a product leadership role at a product company, with a proven track record of shaping a software product's vision, defining its roadmap, and enhancing it based on user metrics or feedback—not just features or modules, or custom development for a single customer.
• Experience in managing software products for large enterprises, understanding their unique purchasing and adoption processes compared to consumers or smaller businesses.
• A technical background capable of discussing data models and system design trade-offs, supported by formal education in Computer Science or at least one year of hands-on developer/coder experience.
• A passion for integrating AI into daily tasks, including research, analysis, synthesis, and strategy development.

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $100 USD/hour, which equates to $200,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
