This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of DATAMAXIS, Inc. We are currently looking for an EDI Developer with Seeburger & SAP in United States.

This role offers a critical opportunity to manage and optimize electronic data interchange (EDI) processes in a complex SAP environment. The EDI Developer will ensure seamless integration of EDIFACT and X12 standards, working with Seeburger and various system interfaces to support Sales & Distribution, financial processes, and e-commerce workflows. This position combines technical expertise, operational management, and process improvement responsibilities, allowing you to influence efficiency and accuracy across enterprise systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead projects, and provide guidance to ensure the organization’s EDI operations are robust, reliable, and scalable.

Accountabilities:

• Maintain and support daily EDI operations, including production support, administration, scheduling, and balancing of EDI documents.
• Design, develop, and implement EDI mappings and interfaces between SAP and external partners using Seeburger.
• Lead projects to digitize current processes, enabling automated order generation and reducing manual work.
• Analyze project requirements and assist in developing functional specifications.
• Collaborate with business analysts and functional teams to resolve issues and design new business processes.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, training programs, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Serve as the primary liaison with key users and stakeholders across functional areas.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with EDIFACT and ANSI X12 EDI standards.
• Proficiency with Seeburger EDI tools in an SAP environment, including SD and FI-EDI configuration.
• Strong understanding of system interfaces such as VAN, AS2, (S)FTP, and HTTP(S).
• Proven ability to lead EDI projects and provide technical guidance to team members or consultants.
• Experience in developing functional specifications, detailed designs, and mapping specifications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Ability to train system users and maintain operational excellence in EDI systems.
• Familiarity with SAP, BI, and e-commerce system integrations.
