In our Howden GmbH operations, high‑performance ventilators and blower systems, regenerative heat exchangers and filter systems are designed, produced, distributed, and serviced. Our products are valued worldwide for quality and innovation, and we are proud of the people who drive our success.

We are looking to strengthen our team at our Coswig site for the earliest possible start date.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for implementing legal requirements and group EHS guidelines across all three locations, with a focus on the Coswig production site
• Development and promotion of a proactive safety culture
• Creation of risk assessments and accident analyses
• Advising leaders and employees on all EHS-related topics
• External communication with authorities, professional associations, and external contractors
• Technical leadership of safety officers
• Conducting trainings and supporting inductions

Qualifications

• Successfully completed technical studies
• Training to become an occupational safety specialist or safety engineer
• At least 3 years of professional experience in a similar function
• Very good English skills, written and spoken
• Willingness to occasionally undertake international business travel
• Independent working style, confident demeanor, initiative and analytical skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities with a decisive approach
