Engineering Leader for Motorcycle Powertrain System

Role Description:
Own the Future, become a part of the team as Engineering Leader for Motorcycle Powertrain System. This role bridges European OEMs and Japan-based teams to ensure seamless project coordination and technical alignment in the development of motorcycle ECUs. It combines project management and engineering support.

Your Core Responsibilities Include:

• Coordinating and monitoring between European customer and Japan-based Sales and Engineering teams for ECU (Electronic Control Unit)
• Setting the milestones of the projects
• Being a support for the Sales team during the negotiation

Engineering Support:

• Pre-analyzing OEM’s requirements on ECU HW/SW
• Being a contact person for the OEM for Engineering topics
• Performing EMS calibration tests and facilitating joint activities with OEM
• Providing prototype software for items which require rapid try and error loops at early development phase

Profile And Qualifications:

• Degree in Automotive/Motorcycle Engineering, or similar is an asset
• Ideally 10 years of experience in Engineering or Project Management
• Experience in automotive/motorcycle industry in a Japanese company is an asset
• Fluent in English, Japanese language is appreciated, any other language is an asset
• Category A driver’s license (motorcycles)
• Software: MATLAB Simulink
• Programming language: C
