Your Tasks:

You will actively support the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS.
You will take responsibility for individual balance sheet items and the overall accounting support of individual German subsidiaries.
You will analyse special topics relevant to accounting and independently lead projects to improve financial processes.
You will contribute to the optimisation of the record-to-report process and implement efficient solutions.
You will support annual financial statements and tax audits.
You will continuously evaluate legal, organisational and strategic framework conditions and ensure their effective implementation.
You will act as a contact person for internal and external stakeholders, thus forming the interface to other departments.

Necessary Skills:

Completed training as an accountant or a comparable degree with a focus on accounting
At least 3 years of professional experience in accounting.
In-depth knowledge and confidence in closing accounts in accordance with HGB and IFRS
Confident use of SAP FI and knowledge of MM and other modules
Proficient in Excel and strong abstract thinking skills
You regularly reflect on the meaning and necessity of your work
German language skills at C1 level and English language skills at B1 level

Gewünschte Kenntnisse:

You are curious and enjoy continuously learning new things.
Experience with S/4 Hana.
Strong communication skills and enjoy working in a team.
Independent, structured and goal-oriented approach to work.
