As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will act as the bridge between complex technology and real-world client needs. You will work directly with customers to integrate systems, configure data pipelines, and deliver high-quality technical solutions that maximize business impact. This role combines software engineering, problem-solving, and client engagement, offering the opportunity to contribute to innovative projects that shape digital retail experiences. Accountabilities

• Write and implement client-side JavaScript integrations on customer websites, ensuring functionality and accuracy.
• Configure, monitor, and maintain client data flows across multiple channels such as websites, SFTP, and cloud environments.
• Serve as the technical point of contact for clients, supporting them before and after launch to ensure long-term success.
• Collaborate with Customer Success teams to design and implement custom technical solutions that optimize platform value.
• Develop creative approaches to solve complex client-specific problems, ensuring scalable and maintainable outcomes.
• Monitor system health and proactively address technical challenges to maintain reliability and performance.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to improve internal tools, processes, and product offerings.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in Solutions Engineering or a related technical role.
• Completion of a reputable coding bootcamp or equivalent programming knowledge.
• Strong fluency in JavaScript and familiarity with web development technologies.
• Previous experience in a client-facing technical role with proven communication skills.
• Ability to structure workflows from ambiguous or incomplete information.
• Nice to have: exposure to SQL, Python, or Google Cloud Functions.
• Familiarity with eCommerce, marketing, advertising, or emerging technologies is a plus.
• Willingness to work evening shifts (6:30 PM – 2:30 AM IST).
