Functional Consultant – Microsoft Dynamics NAV / D365

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Functional Consultant specializing in Microsoft Dynamics NAV and D365 Business Central (Supply Chain Management – Trade & Logistics). The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on implementation experience and a deep understanding of end-to-end supply chain and finance processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver Dynamics NAV/D365 Business Central implementations for Supply Chain and Trade & Logistics.
• Conduct requirement gathering and fit-gap analysis , providing tailored business solutions.
• Prepare Functional Design Documents , business scenarios , and UAT support materials.
• Facilitate Conference Room Pilots (CRPs) to demonstrate system functionality to business users.
• Collaborate effectively in an onsite/offshore delivery model .
• Support data migration , integration, and system testing activities.
• Ensure compliance with localization requirements and accounting standards.
• Prepare project plans and manage end-to-end implementation activities.

Required Skills and Experience

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in Supply Chain Management (Trade & Logistics) using Dynamics NAV / D365 Business Central.
• 2+ years of experience in the Finance module.
• Strong understanding of Order to Cash , Procure to Pay , Inventory , and Warehouse Management processes.
• Deep expertise in Inventory setup, transfer, return, costing, and valuation .
• Proven experience with Data Migration , Functional Documentation , and UAT guidance .
• Experience working with US-based teams and global stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.

Location: Germany (must have valid visa/work permit)

Work Mode: Remote/Hybrid (3 days per week – flexibility allowed; may work from nearest Infosys office if policy changes)

Contract Duration: 6 months (potential long-term extension)

Travel: Moderate (UK and Switzerland, as required)

Language Requirement: Fluency in German (mandatory)

Work Authorization: Candidate must be based in Germany and hold a valid visa or work permit
