Job Description

• Perform and ensure monthly and annual closing of the parent company's subsidiaries (mainly Germany and Spain), including consolidation activities like I/C reconciliation, capital consolidation, in collaboration with foreign accounting teams.
• Create, analyze, and evaluate data for the consolidated financial statements (SchuKo, AEKo, KapKo) and transition to IFRS standards.
• Support accounting teams of subsidiaries regarding IFRS-specific requirements such as IFRS 16 (Leases), IFRS 3 (Business Combinations), and assist in reporting and accounting questions.
• Regularly prepare reports on key calculations and relevant transactions.
• Assist with group audit processes.
• Contribute to the development of the company's accounting policies, including updating the Group Accounting Manual (IFRS).
• Participate in international projects, especially during acquisitions and integration of new subsidiaries.

Ideal Candidate

• Degree in Business Administration, Certified Accountant, or similar qualification with focus on accounting and group reporting, with solid knowledge of international accounting standards.
• Several years of practical experience in IFRS group accounting within an international company or consulting environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with LucaNet and SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
• Independent, solution-oriented, reliable, and personable with a confident demeanor.
• Enjoy working in a dynamic environment with analytical skills, numerical affinity, and an autonomous working style.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
