Head of Finance / Controlling (Interim - SaaS)

Camino Search are working with a fast-growing, private equity-backed SaaS company, serving enterprise clients across Europe and the US. As they prepare for their next phase of growth they are looking to introduce operational excellence and drive value creation initiatives across finance & accounting. We are seeking an experienced Interim VP of Finance to lead financial strategy and operations, as well as provide visibility of the core KPI's and run a revamp of the reporting processes internally.

This role will require previous experience in a Private Equity environment, and strong knowledge of the core KPIs within a SaaS firm. Whilst being a partner to the PE firm, you will also work very closely with the CEO and wider exec team to drive change.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
• Oversee cash flow management, working capital, and investor reporting
• Introduce new and robust financial controls and processes
• Build a reporting suite comprising of strong FP&A, cash flow forecasting and KPI tracking
• Support strategic initiatives including M&A, pricing and commercial planning
• Partner with the CEO and PE sponsor to drive value creation
• Manage finance team and external advisors (audit, tax, legal)

Candidate Profile

• Proven Head of Finance / CFO experience in PE-backed SaaS or tech businesses
• Strong understanding of SaaS metrics (ARR, CAC, LTV, churn)
• Hands on style to accounting to introduce financial rigour and controls
• Fluent in German; English or other European language skills a plus
• Available to start immediately and commit full-time for the duration (3-6 months initially)
