You are responsible for..

• the technical and disciplinary responsibility for the IT department as well as the appreciative and supportive leadership of a team of three
• Implementation and further development of the IT and digitalization strategy
• Identifying critical areas and implementing strategic solutions in good time
• Ensuring the availability and trouble-free operation of the infrastructure and IT processes, supporting the divisions with future issues
• Maintaining information and data security, network access and backup systems
• proactively advancing existing and future projects (e.g. introduction of a new ERP system, NIS2 and support for strategic IT projects as part of the company's development)

You bring with you..

• A degree in business informatics, computer science or a comparable subject or training as an IT specialist with relevant professional experience
• Several years of experience in the IT department of a medium-sized industrial company
• a strong leader who can translate technological visions of the future into viable strategies
• appropriate expertise in IT service management (Windows server administration & back-up systems), server & network infrastructure and in the management of IT projects
• Sound knowledge of cloud-based collaboration tools (especially Sharepoint, Power BI, Office 365), database knowledge (MS SQL, SQL, IIS, application server)
• Practical experience in the implementation of system interfaces
• Comprehensive know-how in dealing with different IT infrastructure requirements from the various areas of a medium-sized company
• a structured, independent way of working, high communication and team skills paired with social competence
