Health Data Integrations Engineer (Python, AWS)

Tasks

• Work in agile teams collaborating with other developers, product managers, and designers.
• Integrate Health APIs like Strava, Garmin, OURA to fetch, process and harmonize health data
• Implement a scalable data architecture from scratch (greenfield project) that can handle big data loads

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years experience as Backend Developer, developing Big Data cloud services on AWS cloud.
• Experience designing and optimizing secure data pipelines and efficient scalable storage
• Experience in data quality monitoring
• Strong Python (pandas, boto3) and Data Engineering skills
• Solid experience with AWS cloud services (IAM, ECS, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, CloudFormation etc.)
• Experience with GitHub (and GitHub Actions)

Nice to have:

• Experience with health APIs like Garmin, OURA, Strava, Withings etc.
• Previous participation in healthcare, wearable projects.
