Information Technology Support Engineer

My client, a Global Automotive firm are currently seeking a Service Desk Analyst with experience in troubleshooting Windows environments for a 12 month rolling project, focusing on the support of a global infrastructure.

Some remote work may be offered, but the client does require on-site presence also. You would ideally be able to commute or work in Cologne, with remote working options potentially available after a period on-site. This is a FREELANCE role paying on an hourly rate. Client are looking to pay in the region of €40+ per hour. STARTS ASAP

Responsibilities / Qualifications

Logging, prioritizing, updating and resolving tickets to meet SLA's
Provide out of hours support
Purchasing, installation and support of all computers and printers
Installation, support and update of all standard tested software
Creating, managing and updating users and access groups in Microsoft Active Directory
Good knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 7
Knowledge of Windows system management software (e.g. Microsoft SCCM)
Good knowledge of handling service requests and incidents via ticketing system
Creating and managing users, distribution groups and shared mailboxes in Microsoft Exchange and Office 365
Maintain all assets in the Asset Management system
Hardware setup and disassembly
Knowledge of Mobile Device Management system
Ideally knowledge of German language is a plus
