    IT Application Expert (m/f/d) - SAP Authorizations

    The State Office of Finance (LfF) is an upper state authority of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate.

    Our tasks include the determination and payment of salaries and pensions for civil servants, the payment of salaries for employees and the payment of benefits for pension recipients and employees of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate.

    With the introduction of the Integrated Personnel Management and Payroll Accounting System (IPEMA) for the Rhineland-Palatinate state administration, the IPEMA Service Center (ISC) was installed as a central unit for the maintenance of regular operations, adaptation and expansion of the IPEMA system, service management and the control and monitoring of all payroll runs.

    The Integrated Personnel Management System - IPEMA based on the standard software SAP S/4HANA is used in the Rhineland-Palatinate state administration and is operated by the State Office of Finance.

    For the IPEMA Service Center (ISC), we are looking for the next possible date for an IT Application Expert (m/f/d) (SAP authorizations).

    The collective agreement of the federal states (TV-L) applies to the employment relationship. The classification is in accordance with the collective bargaining regulations in pay group 10 TV-L.

    Your tasks

    • Provide 2nd level support for our nationwide IT system, which focuses on SAP applications based on SAP HCM.
    • Analyse faults, propose a solution and implement it in collaboration with service providers and end users (software customizing).
    • Document the analysis, the solution and the implementation steps.
    • Process requirement and error tickets within the scope of roles and authorizations for customers.
    • Plan and carry out tests (due to extensive system changes or regular maintenance).
    • Play a key role in the further development of the authorization concept for our SAP systems and update it on an ongoing basis.
    • Implement data protection and IT security requirements in the system and support audits in this regard.

    Your profile

    • Have a degree in computer science, business informatics or similar or professional experience in the field of software customizing in the area of roles and authorizations.

    In addition, desirable and advantageous are

    • Knowledge of the German language at level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
    • Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Experience in the SAP environment, particularly in the area of structural profiles.

    Note: The area of responsibility includes security-sensitive activities that require an extended security clearance (Ü 2) in accordance with Section 11 of the Rhineland-Palatinate State Security Clearance Act (LSÜG). You should therefore be willing to undergo an extended security check.
