THE POSITION

As an IT system administrator (f/m/d), you will report to the IT team manager and our CIO and manage the physical and virtual server landscape as well as all IT systems. You will also be responsible for managing user accounts, analyzing errors and finding solutions to user queries.

YOUR AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

Administration and further development of the physical and virtual server landscape (Windows Server, Fileserver, Nutanix and VMware ESXi) as well as all IT systems (Microsoft 365, network components, database and storage systems)
Conception, planning and implementation of IT projects and migrations
Technical organization of IT security management
2nd and 3rd level support - from error analysis to solution
Processing incidents and user requests - both by telephone and via the ticket system
Management of user accounts and access rights in Active Directory / Azure AD and other applications
Documentation of knowledge base articles and tickets
Cooperative collaboration with users and customers

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Completed vocational training as an IT specialist (f/m/d) in the field of system integration or a comparable qualification
Good knowledge in the administration of Windows servers and clients as well as Active Directory / Azure AD
Ideally experience in the administration of Exchange, MS SQL, VMware and Veeam Data Platform
Service-oriented interaction with users and internal customers - even in difficult situations
Very good analytical and conceptual skills, an independent way of working and a good dose of team spirit
Fluency in German and English
