Overview

We are looking for a passionate Java Developer who will extend the team and enable our solutions to do the next steps towards success. Provide your skills and help us to create success in our products together. Our software wemalo is a WMS warehouse management software, which is running in approx 15 warehouses. In regard to the overall software architecture, we’re looking forward to providing even better solutions to deliver the software worldwide.

Your work

1. As a senior Java developer, you are responsible for the incremental development of the software wemalo and its side modules.
2. Debugging and helping fix problems of JAVA applications.
3. Provide stable & running services of web processes, microservices, and our infrastructure.
4. Provide scripts for customer systems to help in providing solutions in applications.
5. Influence the team’s way of working. Inspire us with your approach to using cloud techniques. With your teammates, you shape the development process from feature request until the release.
6. Bring in your ideas to make our product the ultimate efficient problem solver for our users.

Your qualifications

1. Strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
2. Creative ability to produce effective solutions to client problems.
3. You are a team player who contributes with passion.
4. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Informatics, or related/relevant technical field.
5. Working experience of 3+ years in Java Enterprise (JBoss / Wildfly) or Spring Boot development.
6. Excellent knowledge of JAVA and Java EE, JAVA Features.
7. Ability to read and produce well-structured algorithms and code.
8. You have good knowledge in technologies like Webservices, Wildfly, Hibernate, JIRA.
9. Strong knowledge of MySQL; knowledge of Node.js, Redis, MongoDB is a plus.
10. Understanding of HA application design.
11. Knowledge of Google Cloud applications like App Engine, Cloud Functions, and GCE are a plus.
12. Fluent in writing and speaking English; basic knowledge of German is a plus.
13. You are eager to make a change and are ready for innovation. With passion for teamwork, you’ll be enthusiastic about delivering results with the team.
