Junior Captives Accountant (Remote - India)

In this role, you will be involved in preparing accurate financial statements, reconciling transactions, and assisting with audits, reporting, and regulatory filings. You’ll work on a portfolio of clients, tracking claim activity and investment portfolios while supporting senior accountants. Accountabilities

• Support the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements under local GAAP for a diverse portfolio of clients.
• Assist with reconciling and posting insurance transactions.
• Help track and record claim activity.
• Support investment portfolio tracking and related reporting.
• Assist in preparing documentation for annual audits and regulatory filings.
• Maintain client communication when needed to support accounting processes.
• Prepare materials for board meetings and other internal reporting needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
• 0–2 years of experience in captive insurance or insurance accounting.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
