Responsibilities

develop optical and quantum communication satellite payloads
perform system engineering task for complex optical communications payloads
participate in technology development programs for essential building blocks of next-generation optical and quantum payloads
work on and test optical laser setups in our laser laboratory
analyze and interpret data
interact and support customers regarding technical requirements and specifications

Qualifications

Master’s Degree in communications engineering or other related STEM fields, e.g., physics, photonics, etc.
Hands-on experience with lasers, opto-electronics and optics
Analytical thinking
Willingness to work in a team in multi-partner project structures
Fluent in English and German
