Lead Content Writer - German language

Our client is on a mission to help people feel better with home products that set new standards in ergonomics and comfort. They’re seeking an exceptional German-language Lead Content Writer to create copy for their marketing materials, website, and printed collateral, taking on significant responsibility from day one.

This company is not your typical German or Portuguese firm, and this is not a standard 9-5 job. The role is ideal for someone eager to grow rapidly and make a tangible impact on thousands of customers’ lives.

Tasks:
・Create clear, impactful content: Write articles, newsletters, product descriptions, marketing copy, and more in flawless German for a broad audience.
・Collaborate across teams: Work with marketing, product, and design teams to ensure consistency in tone, style, and messaging across all platforms.
・Work closely with founders: Collaborate directly with the company's founders to align content with strategic goals.
・Leverage AI tools: Use the latest AI technology to increase efficiency and maintain high-quality output.
・Write quickly and effectively: Deliver high-quality content within tight deadlines.
・Implement SEO best practices: Optimize content for search engines to improve visibility and traffic.

Requirements:

• Flawless German writing skills with excellent grammar and style.
• Proven ability to craft logical, clear, and engaging content for diverse audiences.
• Ability to produce high-quality content rapidly and meet deadlines.
• Openness to using AI tools and other technologies to streamline workflows.
• Strong editing and proofreading skills for content accuracy.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices for content optimization.
• Creative and logical thinking to develop compelling narratives while maintaining clarity.
• Hybrid work policy: 4 days/week in Lisbon city center if residing locally; 2 days/week if residing outside Lisbon.

Additional qualifications:

• Experience in email marketing strategies or campaigns is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with email CRMs like Klaviyo or similar tools is a strong plus.
