We are looking for a senior specialist to lead and coordinate logistics and maintenance projects within SASPF (Materielwirtschaft der Bundeswehr) and to contribute to the further development of the MDM strategy in the Bundeswehr context.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate logistics and maintenance projects within SASPF (Materielwirtschaft der Bundeswehr).
• Provide subject-matter expertise for SASPF logistics and maintenance projects of the Bundeswehr; support clients in analysis, evaluation of complex questions, and creation of concept and process documentation.
• Collaborate with business units, IT teams, and external partners to develop MDM strategy within Bundeswehr context and to introduce new technologies and standards.
• Assume leadership roles in logistics projects and drive process- or technically-focused solutions across all project phases.
• Manage interdisciplinary teams and take responsibility for staff development.
• Monitor market trends to identify new potentials, client needs, and opportunities.
• Assist with planning, management, and handling of complex tenders.
• Project assignments may vary by client and project situation; work nationwide in Sopra Steria offices, at client sites, and remotely as needed.

Qualifications

• Completed studies or equivalent qualification in business, logistics, or informatics.
• Several years of experience in Master Data Management, logistics, material management (SAP), ideally with the Bundeswehr or similar organizations.
• Knowledge of SAP/SASPF in MM, PM, QM, or WM modules.
• Extensive experience in advising the Bundeswehr in SAP/SASPF quality and master data management, enabling understanding of complex requirements in security-relevant IT environments.
• Proven track record in project leadership and team management.
• Structured knowledge transfer and mentoring to support development of colleagues and project teams.
• Background as former soldier, civil servant, or Bundeswehr employee with SASPF qualifications is desirable.
• Very good German (C1) and English language skills.
