Lead Software Engineer

As the Lead Developer in the manufacturing industry, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and guiding the development team, driving technical strategy, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to optimize existing processes, innovate, and create cutting‑edge applications that will enhance operational efficiency and productivity within the manufacturing domain.

Responsibilities

• Build and grow a development department with software architecture and DevOps processes.
• Lead in the design and development of innovation and innovative, customer‑centric service or software solutions
• Technical responsibility for cloud/web native architectures, solution design, the development of services and the operation of high‑performance, scalable solutions
• Implement high quality software solutions with inter‑disciplinary teams of software engineers, product owners and business units
• Manage the entire software development lifecycle and continuously improve software development processes
• Multiplier and coach for team members and staff to share expertise and vision through communities, training, etc

Key Skills

• Completed studies in the field of software engineering, computer science, business informatics or comparable training
• Strong communication and customer‑oriented personality, structured and solution‑oriented approach, flexibility, commitment and high team orientation
• Experience in software development and know‑how in the area of web or cloud‑based applications and best familiar with NET Core, C# or Java
• Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
