Manager CIO Advisory – focus Banking & Capital Markets

As a Manager within our client’s Strategy & Transformation CIO Advisory team, you will work on strategic transformation initiatives across banking and capital markets. You will play a key role in shaping and delivering projects focused on business architecture, technology enablement, and operating model optimization. Your work will help our clients navigate complex ecosystems, modernize legacy environments, and build scalable, digital-first capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive strategic transformation projects within banking and capital markets.
• Define and implement digital capabilities, architectures, and operating models.
• Support customer journey transformation and enterprise capability development.
• Design and deliver IT and business architectures aligned with strategic goals.
• Lead cloud, data, and AI/ML initiatives for modernization and innovation.
• Govern enterprise and solution architecture across agile and DevSecOps environments.
• Define and implement IT operating models, including SIAM and capability models.
• Contribute to agile, product-based, and scaled transformation delivery.

Required Experience & Skills

• IT strategy, architecture design, and modernisation.
• Cloud-native and DevSecOps engineering expertise.
• Data architecture, event-driven/API-based systems.
• AI/ML, analytics, automation, and emerging technologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).

Operating Model

• Design of IT operating models and transformation governance.
• Agile, DevSecOps, and product operating model experience.
• Organisational design (SIAM, capabilities, roles, and processes).
• Change and cultural transformation management.
