Master Thesis LLM Enhanced In-Vehicle Personal Assistants (f/m/x)

What awaits you?

• You will support core development activities using Python, integrating LLM libraries and Pydantic.
• Furthermore, you help to contribute to the platform across multiple languages and frameworks, including Android (Kotlin), Azure Pub/Sub, and internal APIs.
• Moreover, you will assist in solving complex problems and devising innovative solutions to enhance LLM capabilities for our in-vehicle assistant.
• In addition, you contribute to planning and executing a user study with an LLM-based prototype.
• You will also support the design of adaptive in-car user interfaces, including wireframes and multimodal interaction flows.

Please note that your thesis must be supervised by a university on your part.

What should you bring along?

• Studies in computer science, media informatics or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Knowledge and experience with Azure or other cloud platforms, integrating with CI/CD tools like Git.
• Experience in developing LLMs and applying user-centered design methods, including user studies—ideally in voice-based interfaces.
• Basic skills in wireframing or prototyping tools such as Figma or ProtoPie are a plus.
• Ability to collaborate in a research and development team, contributing innovative ideas.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
