    As a Media Planner, you will take on a pivotal role in designing and managing cross-channel media strategies that connect brands with their audiences in impactful ways. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing holistic media plans that combine creativity with data-driven insights. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking and tactical execution, with a strong emphasis on client collaboration, performance measurement, and delivering innovative solutions. You will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment alongside talented professionals, contributing to the success of campaigns while fostering both personal and professional growth.

    Accountabilities:

    In this role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day planning responsibilities and ensuring high-quality deliverables across projects. Key missions include:

    • Developing comprehensive, strategic media plans in partnership with supervisors and directors.
    • Acting as the primary client contact for planning needs, leading status calls and maintaining clear communication.
    • Managing client budgets, flowcharts, and ensuring accuracy of the overall media plan.
    • Collaborating with investment, analytics, and strategy teams to incorporate audience insights and performance learnings into recommendations.
    • Monitoring industry and client trends, ensuring plans remain relevant and innovative.
    • Utilizing tools such as Vivvix/Pathmatics, YouGov, MRI/Simmons, Infegy, and Commspoint to support decision-making.
    • Reviewing and guiding the work of assistant planners, providing mentorship and feedback.
    • Ensuring campaigns meet objectives related to media mix, reach, frequency, and overall effectiveness.
    • Contributing to agency culture by encouraging integration across media and creative teams.

    Requirements

    To thrive in this position, you should bring both technical expertise and strong interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate has:

    • A Bachelor’s Degree.
    • At least 2+ years of experience in media planning within an advertising agency.
    • Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
    • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver under tight deadlines.
    • Experience mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to team development.
    • A proactive, detail-oriented mindset, with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
    • Professional confidence in collaborating with vendors, clients, and internal teams.
