About the Role:
Job Title: Process Consultant Process Discovery Optimization
Location: Dresden, Germany/Hybrid 2-3 days a week
Job Type: Contractor 6-12 months
Language Requirement: Fluent in English and knowhow on German

Responsibilities:

• Process Discovery Analysis
  Conduct end-to-end process discovery using Lean tools such as Value Stream Mapping (VSM) to identify inefficiencies redundancies and improvement opportunities
• Stakeholder Engagement
  Facilitate structured workshops and one-on-one interviews with business stakeholders using Lean techniques to uncover process pain points bottlenecks and value leakage
• Process Modelling & Standardization
  Translate discovered processes into standardized models using BPMN 2.0 ensuring clarity consistency and alignment with business goals
• Documentation & Reporting
  Develop comprehensive and detailed process documentation including process maps SOPs and improvement recommendations
• Lean Based Optimization
  Apply Lean principles to streamline and optimize business processes reduce waste and enhance operational efficiency
• Training & Knowledge Transfer
  Deliver training sessions and hands-on knowledge transfer to client teams on process discovery methodologies and BPMN modelling best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in process consulting business analysis or Lean transformation projects
• Expertise in Semi-Conductor and Manufacturing Industry
• Strong knowledge of Lean methodologies and tools e.g., VSM root cause analysis Kaizen
• Proficiency in BPMN 2.0 modelling using tools like Signavio ARIS or Camunda Modeler
• Excellent facilitation and communication skills for conducting workshops and interviews
• Strong documentation and analytical skills
• Experience in training and mentoring client teams
• Fluency in German spoken and written is essential
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business engineering or a related field
