    This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of Jonas Club Software. We are currently looking for a Product Owner in the United States.

    This role offers the opportunity to lead the planning, development, and delivery of innovative software products for private club and athletic management. The Product Owner will act as the central point of coordination between internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring product initiatives align with business strategy and customer needs. You will drive the full product lifecycle, from ideation and requirement gathering to testing, deployment, and optimization. This role requires collaboration with engineering, QA, sales, and marketing teams to deliver high-quality solutions while serving as a trusted consultant to clients. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities while influencing cross-functional teams to achieve strategic goals.

    Accountabilities

    • Oversee the product development process from ideation through launch, ensuring products meet customer expectations and deadlines.
    • Gather, prioritize, and translate business and customer requirements into Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) and actionable development tasks.
    • Collaborate with engineering, design, QA, sales, and marketing teams to deliver cohesive product solutions.
    • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform product strategy and maintain competitive advantage.
    • Manage QA resources to ensure high-quality product delivery and address bugs or enhancements efficiently.
    • Run beta and pilot programs, engaging directly with clients for feedback and validation.
    • Create and maintain wireframes, mockups, and other design artifacts to guide product enhancements.
    • Write internal and external product release notes and documentation to communicate updates clearly.
    • Represent the product at industry events, webinars, demos, and occasional client site visits.

    Requirements

    • 2–5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Analyst.
    • Familiarity with private club management software or related industries.
    • Strong understanding of the full product lifecycle and experience translating user/business needs into actionable product features.
    • Ability to communicate product vision, strategy, and progress clearly to stakeholders, including webinar presentations.
    • Technical proficiency with software product management tools and familiarity with UI/UX principles.
    • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
    • Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
    • Comfort with ambiguity, adaptability, and maintaining composure under pressure.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal effectiveness.
    • Experience managing small teams or QA resources is preferred.
