Overview

Proposal Lead Engineer I&C - Elektrotechnik (w/m/d) – Siemens Energy. Lead Engineer I&C (w/m/d) gathered in an international project team, developing customer-specific solutions for control systems in combined-cycle power plants, wind farms, Power-to-X projects and more. You will help align customer needs with the company values while managing cost and schedule, contributing to project success and maintaining safety, health, environmental and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead proposal projects in the areas of control engineering, electrical engineering and digitization on a global level; promote new constructions and modernizations with internal and external stakeholders
• Translate customer requirements to ensure technical and financial project success while prioritizing customer satisfaction
• Technically clarify I&C task definitions in coordination with electrical, procedural and machinery engineering
• Prepare competitive offers in the field of process control technology in close collaboration with sales and bid project management
• Foster knowledge exchange across I&C project teams through ongoing review processes
• Create technical specifications and inquiry documents and contribute to the development and optimization of interfaces

Qualifications

• University degree in electrical engineering, energy technology, automation technology or an equivalent technical training with relevant industry experience
• Several years of experience in engineering or commissioning electrical and control systems, with project management know-how would be a plus
• Solid knowledge of I&C system architectures and technologies, ideally with experience in Omnivise T3000
• Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
• Strong communication, empathy, teamwork, initiative, results orientation, decisiveness and organizational talent
• Ability to collaborate effectively in international and virtual, intercultural teams
