Kymati GmbH München

Stellenbeschreibung:

Radar Systems Engineer (m/f/d)

Join us at Kymati – your career in high‑tech radar sensors in Munich! We are looking for a qualified and experienced engineer with expertise in hardware design to join our dynamic and innovative team. You will be responsible for the entire hardware development process for individual radar sensors, from circuit diagram to final EMC test.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the system architecture of our radar hardware platform (61 GHz) – from early conceptualization to series production.
  • Manage the entire PCB design – mixed‑signal, digital, and RF components – from component selection and schematic design to layout, working closely with our antenna and RF experts.
  • Integrate antenna structures and components on the circuit board – with a focus on the overall system.
  • Support the entire hardware lifecycle: design, prototyping, validation, EMC/CE/FCC testing, and series production.
  • Create production documentation, test setups, and test tools – and reliably hand them over to our manufacturing partners.
  • Support field tests, fault analysis, and commissioning at the customer site.
  • Maintain documentation, parts lists, and technical documentation.
  • Stay on top of technical trends and bring fresh ideas to the team.

Profile

  • Completed degree in electronics, communications engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable qualification.
  • Several years of experience in PCB design across all areas (mixed‑signal, digital, power, RF).
  • Excellent knowledge of Altium Designer.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes: PCB manufacturing, assembly, and device construction.
  • Systematic thinking and a good grasp of technical interrelationships.
  • Independent and structured working style – you know how to get a product "finished."
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of German is an advantage.

Offer

  • Become part of an experienced and international team that creates and celebrates success together.
  • Work in an exciting technology environment, e.g. in heavy industry, container terminals, aviation and marine.
  • Depending on your previous experience, we will train you individually (professional onboarding) and are sure that all colleagues will welcome you warmly and offer you their full support.
  • We offer an attractive and performance‑oriented salary package and give you long‑term prospects for your personal and professional development in our rapidly growing organization.
  • We live flat hierarchies, maintain open communication in English and German as well as short decision‑making processes.
  • Arrange your working hours flexibly (flextime and home office).
  • Find your workplace in a modern environment at the gates of Munich (5 minutes’ walk to the S-Bahn Vaterstetten) or park for free with us.
  • Enjoy a friendly work environment with amenities such as a large roof terrace, kitchen, and a supermarket nearby. We like to meet up for coffee/tea or celebrate together.

Application

Then, please send us your application documents including your resume, an overview of your marks, as well as information on the earliest possible starting date and your salary expectations.
