    This role offers a strategic opportunity to lead client relationships, develop impactful marketing strategies, and oversee program execution in a dynamic healthcare and wellness environment. The Senior Account Director will manage a portfolio of accounts, drive growth and profitability, and ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions for diverse clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative, editorial, and account management staff, to design and implement programs that resonate with stakeholders and achieve business objectives. This position allows for significant professional autonomy, leadership, and influence within a fast-paced, innovative agency setting.

    Accountabilities

    • Oversee the overall growth, development, and profitability of assigned client accounts, driving business expansion and identifying new opportunities.
    • Serve as the primary client liaison, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and meet client expectations.
    • Develop strategic plans, campaigns, and programs, providing multi-functional guidance and aligning team efforts with client goals.
    • Manage, mentor, and coordinate account managers and cross-functional teams including creative, editorial, and writing staff.
    • Maintain regular communication with senior leadership regarding account status, challenges, and strategic plans.
    • Ensure timely execution of plans and campaigns to achieve revenue, growth, and profit targets.
    • Advocate for client needs while balancing internal resources, priorities, and budgetary constraints.
    • Promote innovative and strategic thinking to drive high-quality, impactful solutions for clients.

    Requirements

    • 7–10+ years of experience in client relationship management, preferably within healthcare, pharma, or biologics marketing.
    • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans at a senior level.
    • Exceptional project management, organizational, and leadership skills.
    • Strong negotiation, mediation, and persuasive communication abilities.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including delivering effective presentations.
    • High attention to detail, financial acumen, and budget management experience.
    • Familiarity with creative processes and techniques, including digital platforms and healthcare marketing tools.
    • Ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships.
    • Collaborative mindset with experience managing and mentoring diverse teams.
