This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and optimize Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments at a global scale. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will provide technical leadership, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement best practices in desktop-as-a-service (DaaS) environments. Accountabilities

• Lead the global rollout and deployment of Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments across multiple regions.
• Design, implement, and support AVD infrastructure to meet organizational requirements.
• Collaborate with DaaS and cross-functional teams to integrate AVD solutions with other Azure services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure seamless user experiences across AVD environments.
• Provide expertise on Azure Local deployments to optimize performance, security, and compliance.
• Utilize Nerdio management tools (preferred) to streamline provisioning, monitoring, and management of AVD solutions.
• Maintain documentation of AVD architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Azure Virtual Desktop Engineer, with hands-on expertise designing and deploying AVD solutions.
• Experience with global AVD deployments and scaling across multiple regions.
• Working knowledge of Azure Local deployment strategies is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with the Nerdio platform for AVD management is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to manage complex AVD environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective remote teamwork.
• Ability to work during Central Time Zone (CST) business hours.
