Senior Business Analyst - Healthcare

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and translate complex operational needs into actionable technical requirements. You will help shape feature development, optimize workflows, and ensure alignment across stakeholders while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. Accountabilities

• Gather, document, and prioritize business and system requirements from stakeholders across Product, Operations, Compliance, and Engineering.
• Create clear and concise documentation, including BRDs, functional specifications, process flows, and use cases.
• Translate complex operational needs into technical requirements for development teams.
• Define and document key platform features, including workflows for provider outreach, patient data collection, data quality validation, and compliance tracking.
• Facilitate communication between development and operations teams to ensure shared understanding and alignment.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), create test cases, coordinate testing activities, and validate feature performance.
• Ensure all documentation and solutions comply with HIPAA, HEDIS, and other relevant healthcare regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in healthcare IT, health plans, or medical records environments.
• Familiarity with chart retrieval processes, HEDIS reporting, or risk adjustment is a plus.
• Strong understanding of healthcare operations and clinical data workflows.
• Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, draw.io, and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally, manage multiple stakeholders, and prioritize competing demands effectively.
• Attention to detail and commitment to compliance and data privacy standards.
