Salary Guide - €100K - €120K Per Annum

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Contract Specialist to lead the commercial, contractual, and legal management of complex capital projects in Germany, valued in excess of €100m+. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract administration, quantity surveying, and legal compliance within large-scale construction or infrastructure projects, with experience navigating European contractual and regulatory frameworks.

You will play a key role in ensuring contractual obligations are met, financial performance is optimised, and legal compliance is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage contracts and commercial activities for high-value capital projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives and compliance.
• Advise on contractual obligations, risk management, claims, and dispute resolution.
• Prepare, review, and negotiate commercial documents, including, or bespoke contracts.
• Collaborate with project teams, legal advisors, and stakeholders to mitigate risks and optimise project outcomes.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with German and EU construction and labor law.
• Maintain accurate documentation for audit, governance, and reporting purposes.

Essential Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Contract, Commercial, on large-scale, complex projects (€100m+).
• Experience in legal compliance, contract law, and commercial risk management.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant professional qualifications.

Desirable:

• Experience with major industrial, infrastructure, or energy projects in Germany.
• Fluency in German and English.
• Knowledge of EU procurement law and cross-border contracting.
